Accepted payment methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, along with PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All prices on brennware.com are shown and charged in US Dollars.
How your payment is handled
Every transaction runs through Shopify's PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment infrastructure over an encrypted connection. Brennware never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials — that information is handled entirely by our payment processor.
When you're charged
Placing an order puts a temporary authorization hold on your payment method for the order total. The actual charge is captured once your order is confirmed and moves into processing, typically within 24 hours. You'll get an itemized confirmation email as soon as your order is placed, whether or not the charge has posted yet.
Currency and international cards
Because everything is billed in US Dollars, customers paying with a non-US card — including most Canadian customers — may see a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee from their bank. That fee is set by your card issuer, not by us, and we have no visibility into or control over it.
Payment issues
If a payment is declined, double-check your card number, billing address, and available balance before retrying, or try a different payment method. Orders are never processed or charged when authorization fails. For anything else payment-related — a duplicate charge, a question about a specific transaction, or a dispute — email support@brennware.com before contacting your bank; most billing questions get resolved within a business day.
